How Pro Shooter Andy Slade Sets Up His Rifle
Andy Slade’s competition rifle isn’t just another rifle build-it’s a family heirloom in the making.
First, it powered through to a Junior World Championship win in the steady hands of Andy’s daughter. Not long after, that very same build helped Andy himself secure a victory at the prestigious AG Cup.

▬ About MDT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
MDT was born out of a single purpose: to provide better value and better accuracy for precision rifles. The first MDT chassis was developed from the ground up based on the needs of shooters.
Our engineers verified every function and feature based on the input from competitive shooters. The end result was a game-changing product called the TAC21 that continues to perform at the range, in the field and in competitions around the world.
Today, MDT chassis, magazines and accessories are still developed the same way.
We collaborate, question and verify our concepts with precision shooters from around the globe to ensure that every MDT product is designed with the same single purpose: to provide our customers with the absolute best product possible.

Yeah, carbon fiber for something that requires holding off high pressure isn't a good idea.

Yeah how about we stop letting these gun industry scammers bend people over and fuck em out of their money by posting anf pushing this BS. Propogating the message that you should go balls to the wall and buy the most expensive shit you can get is how you put people in the mindset of "its okay to go into debt for this" or "its okay to take food off the table for this" when in reality, this expensive toy your video helped provoke them to buy, is never going to do anything but cost them more money. 99% of gun owners arent making money or ever recuperating money from the gun purchases they make. To actively pass a message like this is ignorant and predatory.

That deer was probably in the most safest spot it could be. Usually those at furing ranges sre kaw sbiding citizens so they eouldnt dhoot the deer. Outside the firing range its got predators and hunters or poachers

between 440 and 480 yds. Plates look like 8,7,6,4,3 in. 8in plate looks to be 0.5 mil (1 mil at 100 yrds is 3.6 in. 1mil in reticle is 16 in) 3.6 in/16 in = 100 yds / 444 yds Bullet travel time is around 0.6s, assume initial muzzle velocity at 2800fps and average velocity over 500yds is 2400fps (assuming 0.5 BC, 6mm, 105gr) 2400fps *0.6s = 480 yds

Olympic air rifle shooters do same thing, making it balance don't help make rifle itself more precise, but help shooter control their body more precisely. Everything is just art of controlling the body.

The target appears to be 5 mills tall. 5 mills at 400 yds=72” or 6’. This means the target stand is 6’ tall. I can only assume it’s 6’ tall to get the distance of 400 yds.

    If the left plate is 12", and it's a hair under 0.5mils tall, it's 650y to 700y. I'd say closer to 700y.

I'm guessing the left target is 150mm, because the right one is tiny. 150mm would be 1.5mil at 100m, it looks like 0.5mil, so I'm guessing 300m (based on my guess of the left plate size).
